Welcome to the Coeur d'Alene Rifle and Pistol Club Web Site.

We are located in scenic North Idaho at 6001 North Atlas Road. We welcome shooters to the range for sighting in their rifles and pistols with the hope that they will join the club for reduced range fees.The club was founded in 1950 and has always welcomed new members. Everyone here enjoys the shooting sports and supports them in North Idaho.

Range Features: 25, 50, 100 and 200-yard outdoor range, covered firing points, and benches. 50 foot indoor range limited to .22 rimfire only. Regularly scheduled rifle, and pistol matches and leagues, hunter education classes, women in hunting clinic, an annual potluck, plus a lot more!

New Bylaws

The Board has been working on an upgraded version of the Club Bylaws. The board asks that you read the New Bylaws (download this PDF by clicking on the words New Bylaws). You can also download a PDF of the Old Bylaws for comparison.

On second Tuesday or Wednesday in June thru August we have started members only shooting days for voting members of the club. The main range will be open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. See the calendar for dates. Regular rates apply.

If you are interested in smallbore pistol shooting sign up for our winter Postal League. It starts on December 1, 2011. The Postal practice sessions have started and we will start our official shooting in January 2012. Come on Tueday mornings at 9:00 am or Thursday night at 6:00 pm at the Indoor Range. You have to have a voting membership at the club (NRA or Non-NRA) to participate in the Postal League.

Smallbore rifle also starts in November. See the small bore page for information. We had a good year with the smallbore group. This is a good way for parents to have your kids learn safe shooting. We have training for young shooters wishing to compete with a smallbore rifle.

Club members can now purchase through Graf & Sons and Brownells at dealer cost!!! Click on their logo to go to their main site. Browse around and write down the items you want to order. Both Graf and Sons and Brownells have asked the club to only order through one member and that is Dick Coss. With your order in hand call Dick at 777-8265 and he will place your order. When the order comes in he will call you to come and pick up the order. He will need a check, money order, or cash in hand before he can place your order.
